The Brief

Produce an emotive 2–3 minute film encouraging parents and teachers to reflect on the powerful influence they have on how children see themselves—and what they believe they can become. The film needed to inspire action, however small, by showing that even the briefest moments of encouragement can leave a lasting impact.

How we did it

We cast a diverse range of talent across generations and held in-depth interviews to uncover meaningful, personal reflections about the adults who shaped their lives. Our approach was to listen deeply and create space for honest, emotional storytelling. Filming with three cameras, including a motion control slider for subtle dynamic movement, allowed us to stay in the moment while giving the edit plenty of flexibility. The piece was crafted in DaVinci Resolve, with a gentle grade and thoughtful pacing to support the film’s emotional tone.
